Failed to Connect

    Reporting a crash:
    1. Write an informative title with [game version number] at the beginning.
    2. Describe the crash in as much detail as possible. Did you experience a crash to the desktop, blue screen, game freeze, or disconnect?
    3. Attach your DxDiag info into the thread.
    4. Attach your game logs.
    5. Zip and attach your crash dump file if it applies.

    Hi team,

    Not sure if anyone else has got this problem...but the latest update from steam says that I have found a game but after a minute or so, it says: "Failed to join match"...try requeuing blah blah blah

    never had this problem until today or the last 20minutes lol

    Anyone else had this issue or can provide a solution for this?

    Hey, sorry about that. Can you please upload your logs from today?

    1. Right click Legion TD 2 in Steam and select Properties.
    2. Select Local Files then Browse Local Files.
    3. Browse to Legion TD 2 > Dev > Logs > 01/31/2020 and .zip the whole folder
    4. Attach the zipped file to your forum post.

    Have the same problem.
    Are there any changes with the network ports?

    My last stand was, that LTD2 is using the ports 9000-9010.
    In my traffic log I found several highports,

    I also can't connect to the chat with the ports 9000-9010.
    Which Ports i need for the chat?

    Please release a info with all the network ports I need to play the game
    what is this 40.74.35.7:30303?

    Hey, sorry if you had issues connecting. Was it just that one game or every game you found? Usually there is no need for you to forward any ports and the game should be playable without any additional work. I've looked into your case and it seems like your client tried to connect to the gameserver before it booted up (which is a bug). I wrote it down and will look into it to prevent it from happening in the future, thanks for the logs

    I will try to explain.

    I have a Sophos UTM Firewall. In Jan 2019 I created a thread for the LTD2 Ports https://legiontd2.com/community/threads/legion-td2-ports.18482/#post-39137

    The answer was: Sorry for the late reply. Ports 9000-9010.



    So I created a new firewall rule for my local PC, so that he can communicate through the ports 9000-9010 (TCP/UDP) with the internet. It went smoothly for a long time

    After a long time, I wanted to play the game again but there are also connection problems again.

    With the old firewall rule I can't connect to the game.
    When I start the game, my firewall log shows a hand of IP's and Ports my PC will to connect with.
    The firewall DROPS all of this connections.

    for example
    The global chat just connects, if the ports 5057 and 5058 (UDP) are open

    I can now add these ports t omy Firewall, but I still can't connect to the game, because of random tcp ports for the game connection.
