    Hello everybody,

The second edition of the Legion TD 2 In-House League (LIHL) was incredible and exceed our expectation ! For this reason, as you know, we decided to develop a bit more this competition with two divisions. This is the 2nd division - Diamond Division. Because of this success, I would like to present you some new members in the organization team : @Bonny @Pennywise @Shadowings ! Thanks them for joining us to develop more LIHL.

The LIHL is a league that will span 6 weeks in which 20 best teams will compete in order to qualify for the first division - Grand Master Division.

Below you will find all the rules and guidelines for the league, but here are some of the most important ones:
    • You will need to be able to play a BO2 match against your opponent of the week, every week (Yes, draws are possible!). There are no fixed times, you have to find a time with your opponent. If you can’t find a time, you will have to play the game on Sunday 9PM CET.
    • The 20 teams with the highest peak rating in season 6 will qualify for the diamond division.
    • One member of your team will be your captain. They are responsible for arranging the day and time to play with the captain of their opponent team and communication with the LIHL-staff. Discord is required for this!
    • Depending on number of teams, there will be 2 groups of 10 teams. For the draw, the top-10 teams will draw one other top-10 team, the rest of the teams are shuffled randomly into the two groups.
    • If a team has been participated to the last Grand Master Division season, they cannot register for Diamond Division. If you participate to the Diamond Division, except if you finish 1st or 2nd, you cannot participate to the Grand Master Division.
    • If a team or a player is found to be cheating, toxic, abusive, or any other behaviour which could be considered detrimental to the league, they will be automatically banned from all future events organized by this community. We decide to have a severe penalty since we want to run this division with the best behaviour possible, like we see in other e-sport tournaments.
    • If a smurf (e.g. main account above the maximum rating authorized) is detected, the player will be automatically banned for all future leagues and events organized by this community.
LIHL will be managed by those moderators:
    • Seraphin: Playing LTD2 since season 2, peak rating 2412, you all know him from excellently hosting the tournaments we have enjoyed in LTD2.
    • Mick: Player since season 1, peak rating 2566, has been moderator for the LIHL in LTD1 for over 4 years.
    • Pennywise: Player since season 1, peak rating 2720, he is streaming sometimes, casted a lot during the previous edition of LIHL and casted the final phase of previous Master Cup with Jules
    • Bonny: Player since season 1, peak rating 2877, he is one of the most known streamer at the moment and casted a lot during the previous edition of LIHL.
    • Shadowings: Player since season 2, peak rating 2552, he casted a lot during the previous edition of LIHL.

    3. The bottom team selects its preferred player positions
    4. The top team selects its preferred player positions
    5. Once both teams confirm they are ready, the game can be started
    Reporting Results
    • The winning team must screenshot and report the game results to #tournament-result.
    Game-impacting Bugs, Disconnects, & Remakes
    • In general, we will not be honoring remake requests. Legion TD 2 is an Early Access game, and there will inevitably be bugs. Remakes cause delays that compromise the entire tournament's schedule and also encourage players to cheat by disconnecting or reporting a bug if they are losing or have bad rolls.
    • You should not request a remake, unless it's an obviously critical bug, such as being unable to deploy fighters.
    • Pathing and targeting issues generally will not be considered worthy of a remake.
    • You cannot ask the opposing team for permission to remake. That decision is made by the staff, not the opposing team.
    • To request a remake, you must:

    1. Record your games (here's a guide on how to do that).
    2. Notify the opposing team that you are requesting a remake immediately at the time of the game-impacting bug.
    3. Notify Seraphin in #tournament-lobby that you are requesting a remake immediately at the time of the game-impacting bug.
    4. Share video footage of the game-impacting bug with staff.
Staff will review the video and make a decision based on (1) the severity of the bug, (2) the state of the game, and (3) implications on the tournament's schedule. If it is determined that the bug critically impacted the team's ability to win (e.g. the team's chance of winning decreased from 60% -> 20%) and if remaking wouldn't disrupt the tournament's schedule, a remake may be granted.
Tournament Director: Seraphin, Mick, Bonny, Shadowings, Pennywise
    Caster: Cannot say everybody

For this Diamond Division, on Sunday at 2pm CET and untill 5pm CET, the official cast will be done by one of the director of the LIHL. You are authorize to stream your game if you want. However, we strongly suggest you to add a minimal delay of 5min. We won't accept any complain about stream snipe or so.
Final phase will be casted only by AAG or tournament Director. Eventually, a caster could be invited.

I'm a bit confused by this point:
"If a smurf (e.g. main account above the maximum rating authorized) is detected, the player will be automatically banned for all future leagues and events organized by this community."
There is no maximum rating mentioned so far. How does this work with premadeaccounts? Think this point needs some more clearance. ty :)

Hello @IQ_999 . Thank you for your question.
To answer you, some of high elo players have a smurf account (for example, egekaer, Luyanara, Ceezor). If you participated with your main account on previous season of LIHL (or Grand Master Division), you are not authorized to play the Diamond Division.
Which means, for example, if Egeaker sign up with his smurf on Diamond Division and we detect this, he will be banned from LIHL.

I hope it is more clear for you. ;)

Thats not a problem. You can sign up with your Duo-Accounts.
The top 20 teams that register will be allowed to play, so you should be fine!
However keep in mind that you gotta finish 1st or 2nd to get a spot in the next LIHL Grandmaster Division.

Just mentioning for Future when you keep running both divisions. Do you already have a solution for the following situation?
Actually a team that took part in LIHL Grandmaster Division is not allowed to take part in Diamond division. A Team qualifying via diamond division into Grandmaster Division, wouldnt be allwoed to take part in the following Diamond Division, since it took part in grandmaster division. Even if it is a low elo-duo.
This opens up for szenarios where in the one qualifier here wins grandmaster division, but is not allowed to take part in the next diamond division and can't defend their title due to elo restriction in the next grandmaster division.(title defender seat might help, but does not clear the full problem)
Since this division should allow lower elo duos to get a seat in grandmaster division, it seems not the right way to exclude them from the following qualifier after they took part in grandmaster division.
A simple solution like teams that took their seat from qualifier are not excluded wouldnt be a proper solution as well. (example: high elo duo qualifying via diamond division could always take part in both tournaments as long as they are strong enough to always get a seat via diamond division.)

One solution could be to not flat restrict grandmasterdivision-patricipants from taking part in diamond league. If they were qualified AND wouldnt have had the elo to take part without qualifying, then they could be allowed to take part in diamond leage. Ofc this can be abused as well.

Best solution would be if the participants of grandmaster division are known befores starting diamond division qualifier (so they can be excluded). But due to the duration of the qualifier this won't work.

Just wanted to mention this is maybe sth you should find a solution before announcing grandmaster division ;)
