@MStylo Yes, that was your build. @Seraphin Different games, different scenarios - for some games 320 send on 13 is quite enough. But this is going off-topic. My point was the ability of Hell Raisers to be effective vs ranged sends, especially more expensive ones like Witch, Shaman, Four eyes.
You can't really protect those mercs in this case. You would need a new mercenary with buff that specifically reduces ranged dps by 50-60% for couple seconds and spawns infront of quill shooters so it's not broken on ranged waves. And would be reduced to 10% if enemy stands next to it.
Can't think of any solution to nerfing masks without breaking them on one part or another.

Next patch hopefully sometime next week, but don't quote me on that. It depends on how much we want to get into this patch, and if we run into any blockers or other issues. For example, we ran into some login issues over the weekend, as well as a new issue with Telekom users. We prioritize critical issues that prevent people from playing over new content and balance changes. I can say that we are currently working on the patch and have already made good progress.
My playstyle is making my opponent leak, but when I see masks, I've learned except for waves 6 and 10, I'm simply not going to make a decent player leak without totally crippling my own economy. No other unit gives me that dilemma. They don't even have to build much else, just some kind of tank.
When I put Daphnes with masks, they even kill boss units. (Please don't nerf Daphne next because of masks.)
I'm not saying they're game-breaking and OP or that would show up in the data. It's not like mask users get insane econ due to masks. I'm saying they're too versatile and strong early game, especially after the damage buff on Maiden and Hellraiser. Overly strong on most waves, very weak on a few. Usually not worth sending against early, so I don't like them.
